The first thing I did at the casino this trip was play plo8. I've come to learn that game is FUCKING TOTALLY about hand selection. There's very little "soul read" situations. Just get your stupid low monsters and put the money in. Get your money in with the big draw and pray. I did that in a good but not great spot and ended up winning like 660. One thing that's helped is that I'm now playing online at Global Poker(none of you jerks will know my screen name) through my phone so that helps me fold the A510J no suit very marginal garbage.
I won in everything I played. 10-20 Razz with a half kill at 100 went very well. Won in 2-5 NL. I even won the 60 in matchplay coupons from the Chinese Bus. I do my one spin on roulette and always pick red. I used to do BlackJack with it but Foxwoods realized I'm AP and now stops me.
We had NEW DEALERS this trip. Straight out of dealer school. One fun thing was when a guy bet 20, it went call and call, then a guy called with a green chip. "He raised 5!" says the dealer. Also there was fun trying to explain half rake, fuckloads of exposed cards etc. It's pretty gross. The room at Pequot was good as usual. Wifi was fine. Going back home I usually try to sleep on the bus and this guy had MUSIC with no headphones blasting. I casually mentioned out loud that "I'm going to kill someone today and it should be him." They'll respect you if they think you're crazy. 3 day fox trip next week because there's a good structure 50k guaranteed tournament next week. 2 day, 30 mins each, no obvious skipped level, 40k starting stack.

Foxwoods trip and ranting
The Skyliner bus from Flushing is awesome. For 15 bucks(and it's 12 on the last two buses of the night) you get 60 in matchplay and a round trip ticket. Around Christmas they give you 85 in match. Biggest thing is that they actually leave to and from the casino ON TIME(hello greyhound). I was at the GF-ish house on Wednesday in Jersey watching Big Brother season finale WHICH JOSH WINNING WAS A FUCKING CRIME. Still pisses me off that the jury would be so bitchy and bitter that Paul owned them so they gave the 500k to the obnoxious idiot.
We all know the morning game sucks in casinos so I decided take the 11am bus instead of the 10am to Foxwoods. Can eat, check in, yada yada. First table of 2-5 NL went very well. Biggest hand was a guy overplayed KK(I think) or AK suited. He made 20 UTG and I have 99 in the BB, 4 callers in between. Flop was 9JJ and spade came on the turn. Money goes in and he flashes the K of spades. High point was turning 200 into 1300 but table got a bit junky and cashed out 1100.
I then...played 10/20 OE. I promised myself I wouldn't play it but I did. I made 255 in the game off regs who were steaming. Stud HI/LO in particular is a game where you can steam off money a lot. Calling that 5th street bet drawing thin can be a thing. After a rollercoaster affair I ended up winning 255 and rolled out. MORE than happy to go. After a short break I went back to NL. I'll spare the details, but I got two outed in a 1300 dollar pot. That one hurt and table was good but I'm
not great brushing off gut punches like that. I then proceeded to play on Global Poker and lost 4 straight SNGs where I was ahead 3 times when the money went in. I then went to bed. Fuck this.
Friday sucked. Lost 308 in 2-5 NL, around 150 in plo8, and another 550 in OE. I absolutely need to quit playing anything besides hold em(except heads up OE, that's welcome but just doesn't happen). So after lamenting my life I sat back at 2-5 NL and was on one of those must move tables that only has a few people. So it was a rotating cast of 3 people. I busted the last two guys. Won 685 in 20 minutes which is a pace I need to keep up. After that, I got to the main game and won 209. So ended up winning about 565 after expenses. I was disappointed the blonde poker chick with the massive jugs wasn't there much. They're so big! Maybe next week. Same schedule for fox next week. Part of my reasoning for writing this blog is keeping myself in line so I'm telling you all now, NO MORE non-NL GAMES.

First blog!
A few people have asked me to start a poker blog since I came upon the scene and I am pretty steadily at the casino(Foxwoods, to be specific). So here we go. I feel it might not be that interesting but there's always something going on so who knows?
I'm going to start talking about poker trips and how I'm running starting on Saturday(I'll be in Foxwoods Thursday and Friday this week). My life is pretty standard when I'm not in the casino, besides the exception of my going to the movies A LOT thanks to my MoviePass card. Maybe I'll give a few opinions on that in my blogs as well. One thing that I won't do is give my thought processes about poker and hands. I don't want to give the blueprint to beat me.
So news regarding Foxwoods...the BBJ is going to stop being collected on October 1st which coincides with the rake going up from 4+1 to 5+1. There was a terrible rumor that they would collect two at the flop which would destroy the game. High Hand is still going on some days and on days it isn't it will "just" be 5 max. They are still keeping and collecting for the 100 dollar overnight High Hand that everyone hates. It's very stupid, but I'm kinda stuck there because of comp rooms and lots of points. Plus the Chinese bus is very good. I also am pretty friendly with a lot of the players and can share rooms so that's nice. I intend to update this every Saturday.
