POT, board changes completely, POT?!??

This was a pretty epic trip for me. I’ve been trying hard to finally have both a Good Friday and Saturday and it came together. Of course that always involves some luck but I felt I played well. So let’s get to it.

I got a lot of nice giveaways this trip. 220 in slot, 40 points, a crock pot, and a mystery giveaway. This is like the reason(besides the steady plo8 game) that I come here. Two free nights as well. Sadly I lost my match play coupon again and I only turn the slot into around 145 bucks. It’s fine. Black guy was on the bus. It’s very clear by now he put me on block. I texted him again today asking if I should bring the bag and he doesn’t reply so no bag. I’m sick of it. But I want my money.

After the gym we got the plo8 started. Pretty standard game until this absolute idiot jumped in. Imagine a plo8 game where a guy pots the flop, the turn brings like the WHEEL and a flush and he pots it again! It’s utter madness!  He ended up losing a legit 5k in the game and I ended winning 1807 on the session. He actually won the last hand he played because there were 5 people in there for 20 and I’m OOP with A397 and the flop comes 6810 two diamonds. I pot it. He calls. Some shorties were in there with like nut flush draw and whatever and so was this guy. He had 10-9-xx and hit running 10-9. He left shortly after and the game broke. I’m praying that hand is all he remembers and he comes back. Larry won 2300 in the game and he and I both started stuck pretty big. He gave me back 200 of the 400 owed.

Hold em Saturday was pretty good. You gotta be a ninja and jump around to good tables in hold em nowadays. I do that. Even if I’m enjoying the conversation at the game I get out if the table is too strong. One VERY notable thing is this one player legit made it 30 96% of the time(he once folded his big preflop in an unraised pot for uhhh balance lol). I was in the 8 seat and he was in the 2. Complicated seat for sure. It’s certainly not standard poker anymore. I got a nice bit off him before he went broke. He went to 1-2 later and I followed him. I thought he might make it 12 every hand but no luck. He lost 300 and ran. So I ended up winning 3k in poker this trip.
