Ahh the casino trips with the girlfriend. So very different than going by yourself, but in some ways better. It all really depends if you’re stuck or not on the times you do get to play poker. Financially, this trip sucked. Let’s get started. I screwed up before I even arrived in two ways: I left my keys at work(which has my BOX keys) and I forgot to buy 2 Asian bus tickets for GF and I so I had to use cash. I pay for her ticket and I don’t like her gambling so I use her 60 in coupons too. Split it up into 3 bets of red. All black. We get sone food and head to bed.
We go to the gym and after I look for my keys. Not there of course. Plo8 was already going(I apparently sleep well when I’m with her, even in a casino) and I was annoyed at myself. She’s awesome and asked if I wanted to borrow money. She’s sweet but she only had 500 and that wasn’t gonna cover it. I asked the box people how much to drill the box. 50 bucks. I then tried again to get a marker. I got further along than last time but I gave up when it became a hassle. Paid the 50. Lose lose lose. One time in plo8 I had trips, top kicker, and nut low draw and all he had was a bad low and a weak spade draw going into the river and he hit his high spade. Check check he scoop. A sign of my day.
Luckily, I invited the girlfriend because we got tickets to go to the casino version of Price is Right. They said if you want to go on you have to wait in line 3 hours before showtime to have a chance. We looked, line was too long, we said no. Later we go in and see you can show up 5 minutes before showtime and you can get on. It’s all random. Neither of us got picked for anything but it was fun.
After that plo8 was still going and I got virtually all my money back. I lost 521 and got 642 back. Ahead in poker but combined with the 194 of bus, box, and roulette still stuck. Cancer Bruce still alive.
Next day started out well. We got the couples massage again. This one is the Sugar and Spice Massage(something like that) and it felt really good. She really gave my legs and shoulders a good stretch. I played 1-2 because I’m the best player. I still lost. One hand I raise UTG to 10 with KK and get one caller. Flop 10-3-5 2 clubs. I have Kc. He has AJ. I bet 15...call. Turn Jc we get his last 57 in on the turn and he hits another J. Lost another flip to him with AK suited vs QQ. Not my trip. I got plo8 going with a straddle heads up and lost another couple hundred because I run like garbage. So I lost around 780 but it could be a LOT worse. Let’s get it back today.
